2019 H100 FALL SOCIAL

by Hillsides

The H100 Fall Social held at Hotel Constance in Pasadena is an annual event with an opportunity for H100 members and guests to mingle, get a jump start on holiday cheer, and support the teen residents of Hillsides.

During the evening, guests heard from Hillsides President and Chief Executive Officer Joseph M. Costa, who thanked H100 members and guests for their generosity. “Never underestimate what a gift might do for a child,” he said. “Our job is to help kids who have suffered adverse childhood experiences, and one way we do this is through caring adults and groups like H100.” Guests also heard from Hillsides therapeutic behavioral specialists Tasba Ruiz and Kristen Maltese who both spoke about their experiences working with children who had been affected by trauma, and how they and the rest of the cottage staff workers, with the help of groups like H100, provide the best services possible for them. Tasba shared, “the love is felt by the children.”

If you missed the opportunity to attend the evening or fulfill a child’s Christmas wish from the wishing trees at the event, you can still do so by donating today. Below are some wish amounts that can greatly contribute to making these teen residents’ Christmas dreams come true. As Tasba is testament to, these gestures create a lasting change in the lives of those we serve.
